diffraction of light

Interaction of acoustic and light waves with accounting
of elastooptic and elastogyration effects has been theoretically described.
Collinear acoustogyration (AG) diffraction in the quartz crystals has been
reinvestigated and thoroughly analyzed. The AG efficiency and the AG figure
of merit are calculated for those crystals and compared with the experimental
results.
