Optical Properties of ZnSe:Mg Diffusion Layers

Photoluminescence, optical absorption and reflection spectra are analysed for the zinc selenide layers doped with Mg via evaporation deposition in a closed volume. The three bands detected in the spectrum of edge emission are attributed to the interband transitions, the annihilation of excitons bound at Mg centres and the recombination at the donor-acceptor pairs of ( Zn_iSe_i).
